Curriculum Writer - Camp RYSE

Project Timeline: January - March 2027
Compensation: $1,000 per curriculum set

RYSE is seeking experienced K-12 educators to create four weeks of accessible, flexible, easy-to-implement literacy and STEM curriculum for multilingual learners. Each curriculum writer will be tasked with creating a minimum of one set of curriculum.

Curriculum Sets

• 1st - 3rd ELA
• 1st - 3rd STEM
• 4th - 6th ELA
• 4th - 6th STEM
• 7th - 9th ELA
• 7th - 9th STEM

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a K-12 educator, with a strong background in literacy and/or STEM education (required)
• Experience working with multilingual student populations, including refugee or immigrant youth (required)
• Knowledge of best practices in curriculum, assessment, and culturally responsive teaching (required)
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in education, STEM, English, or related field (preferred)
• Interest in serving as a Camp RYSE Teacher Mentor for summer 2027 (preferred)
